Yes, because we love to share our amazing mountains with people that want to discover our stunning landscapes, incredible fauna & flora and enjoy tracking in one of our countless path.
You can benefit of the quite atmosphere of the village, be able to try typical recipes and do some of the many activities provided by the valley.
But the main attraction is the nature, its wilderness, almost untouched and ready to offer you amazing moments.
The House
Our house is composed by four double rooms, all of them with their own bathroom. A big kitchen and a living-room are completing the house.
At walking distance there are small groceries and coffee bars and a public park with barbecue fireplaces, tables and games for kids (such as slides and swingers). In the park has been settled a permanent art exposition perfectly integrated with the environment. Traditional, cozy restaurants are easily reachable by car (3 minutes) or by bike (10 minutes). Even if the house is located in the core of the village, it is surrounded by mountains and the Cimoliana Valley with its river is just few hundred meters by.
Bedrooms
All our bedrooms offer comfort and privacy. Each of them are provided with a private bathroom with shower.
kitchen
The kitchen is provided wit oven and dishwasher.
There is a fridge where to store your food, cookers and everything you need to cook.
living room
In the living room you can relax on a couch, reading a book or spending time with your friends or family. The fifth toilette is on the ground floor and it is provided with a washer machine
You will be hosted in a warm, cozy environment where you can just relax after a day spent in the unique wilderness of the Cimoliana Valley and surrounding.
THE VALLEY
The Dolomites of Friuli are composed by spires and towers that stand out against the sky, that is very often of a deep blue. The symbol of the valley is represented by the Campanile of Val Montanaia, a cliff tower that stands solitary in the middle of a glacial basin. But the area offers a huge range of hiking itineraries of different levels of difficulties often starting from woods of beech trees and spruce pines and ending above the tree threshold, with open grasslands, cliffs and alpine huts. Some examples, are the Lodina, Val di Brica, Bregolina Grande, Bregolina Piccola and Pramaggiore. Several huts have been restructured and used as campfires. The wilderness is intact and peaceful making of the Val Cimoliana the ideal refuge of the roe deer, the chamoise and the steinbock that can be observed from the valley with a good binocular or a scope. A common sight looking the crests of the mountains surrounding the valley is the golden eagle while several interesting birds, such as the deeper, are visible along the Cimoliana river.
ACTIVITIES
There are many outdoor activities to do all year round, from ice climbing and skiing in winter to mountain bike and canyoning in summer. Whichever are your passion, if you are looking for adrenaline or a quiet walk in the forest you will find something that will suit your.
HIKING
Detailed maps of the hiking itineraries are available at the visitor center of the Natural Park.
CLIMBING
The more accessible climbing opportunities are at 4 km distance from the house: Falesia Compol located on the left of Compol bridge.
MOUNTAIN BIKE
The house has a small private garage to store bikes. From the house there are several paths for biking, not least the Val Cimoliana, a 17 km long road, ending with the Rifugio Pordenone, where you can have some rest, eat and drink.
FISHING
You need a fishing licence to fish here. We can help you to find the right solution for you.
CANYONING

BIRDWATCHING
You can spot several species of birds such as the hazel grouse, corncrake, ptarmigan, pigmy owl, eagle owl, golden eagle and many others.
Tree top walking

ice skating
Few kilometers apart from the house there is an Olympic ice skating stadium where it is also possible to practice curling
snow shows tracking
When it snowed this is an wonderful way to explore the valley.
ICE CLIMBING
There are several spots where it is possible to practice ice climbing
SKI
Free cross country is possible along the valley. For downhill ski the closest location it's at 40 min distance by car
NORDIC WALKING
Bring your sticks along, this is the perfect area where to do some nordic walking!.

The location is superior, the accommodation facilities are complete, the host is friendly, the villa is spotless, the town is friendly, suitable for walking, and the local restaurants have reasonable consumption. One of the restaurants also has a waitress who can speak Chinese.
